Pattaya and the Phra Tamnak Hill area have accommodation options for every budget, from very reasonably priced hotel rooms and apartments within 5-10 minutes walking distance to a luxury boutique resort next to the club.
On the hill, there are restaurants, small shops, massage services, and minimarts. The latter sell SIM cards for local data plans, which you can also get at the airport on arrival. For larger supermarkets, shopping malls, and sightseeing attractions, one would have to get a ride or drive into Pattaya City. Drivers can easily be arranged using Grab or Bolt, or asking your hotel or the club reception desk. See our Area Map for more details.

- The Monttra Pattaya (starting from US$116) is a boutique luxury resort on the doorstep of the Royal Varuna Yacht Club, less than 1-minute walk away.
- The Cross Pattaya Pratamnak (starting from US$84) offers comfortable rooms almost immediately behind the club, a 2-minute walk away.
- The Royal Cliff Hotels Group (starting from US$133) offers a range of luxury accommodation options and facilities on the next two beaches north of the club. The resort can arrange transfers by car to the club which is about 5 minutes away.
- The InterContinental Pattaya Resort (starting from US$134) is a family-friendly 5-star resort two beaches north of the club, and can also arrange transfers by car to the club which is about 5 minutes away.
- The Citrus Grande Hotel Pattaya (starting from US$69) is located on the road to South Pattaya, closer to the ‘action’ (shopping, restaurants, nightlife), and is familiar with the special needs of sailors, having hosted the Optimist Asian and Oceanian Championship in 2021. It can also arrange transfers up and over the hill to the club (approx. 5 minutes away).
- The Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya (starting from US$97) is on Beach Road in Central Pattaya, walking distance to markets, malls and lots of restaurants. The hotel will offer a free shuttle to the club for sailors. Allow 20-30 minutes each way.
All hotels have air conditioning and free wireless internet (wifi). The Royal Varuna Yacht Club also has free wifi.
